U4GM: Monopoly go Pickaxe Milestones Explained

The odd thing about Carriage Cavalcade is that the name sounds steady, but the event really isn't. One run had me hunting random pickup icons, the next had players watching Chance, Tax, and Utility tiles like hawks. If you're grinding album progress or trading Monopoly Go Stickers with friends, that detail matters, because wasting dice on the wrong scoring idea feels awful fast.

How the May 2026 runs actually played

The May 30 to June 1 version was a pickup event. Little icons appeared on board tiles, and each one gave 2 points times your dice multiplier. Once you landed on one, it moved. Simple enough, but not brain-off simple. You had to keep checking the board, especially before jumping to a fat multiplier.

The May 17 to May 20 version was different. That one paid out on Chance, Tax, and Utility landings. Chance and Utility gave 2 base points, while Tax gave 3. Same 62-milestone skeleton, same 18,205 dice total, same 199 Treasures currency total, but the way you earned points changed. That's the bit people miss.

Milestones worth remembering

1. Milestone 10 gave an early 150 dice bump.

2. Milestone 37 was a sane Pickaxe target.

3. Milestone 53 was the last Treasures currency payout.

Reality check: If you chase milestone 62 with a weak dice bank, the board will humble you.

Quick run comparison

Here's the clean version, without the usual event-page clutter. The reward shell looked reused, but the live objective didn't.

Run Main scoring Treasures currency Total dice
May 17 to May 20 Chance Tax Utility 199 Blaster Tokens 18205
May 30 to June 1 Pickup icons 199 Pickaxes 18205

That table is why I wouldn't copy old advice blindly. Check the live tiles first, then spend.

The awkward question players keep asking

Someone in my group asked if reaching milestone 62 is needed for Sleeping Beauty Treasures progress.

Nope. If you only want Pickaxes, milestone 53 is the real finish line. After that, it's mostly dice chasing.

How I'd play it without getting rinsed

For pickup-icon runs, I'd stay low when icons are scattered and only raise the multiplier when a few sit near common roll totals. For Chance, Tax, and Utility runs, Tax tiles are the nicer hits, but you still need patience. The late rewards are tempting: 2,200 dice at milestone 56 and 5,000 at milestone 62. Still, those point costs bite. Use tournaments, Quick Wins, shop gifts, and Tycoon Club before burning through saved dice. And if your album is the real goal, checking Monopoly Go Stickers for sale alongside event timing can help you decide whether to push, pause, or just wait for the next cleaner run.
